I wrote init scripts for my GenToo system.
You can find them inside of the Ebuilds i published in the GFS section at: https://open.datacore.ch/page/GFS.Install
The scripts are able to start the cluster, join the fence domain, start gnbd inport/export and finally to mount the GFS filesystem automatically.
