It looks like 16.2.14 was released, but it looks like in an incomplete way in the debian repo? I first noticed it because my nightly mirror snapshot picked it up, and showed that the majority of packages were removed, and only a handful had a new version. focal-ceph-pacific 230829 to 230830 Arch | Package | Version in A | Version in B - all | ceph-grafana-dashboards | 16.2.13-1focal | - - all | ceph-mgr-cephadm | 16.2.13-1focal | - ! all | ceph-mgr-dashboard | 16.2.13-1focal | 16.2.14-1focal - all | ceph-mgr-diskprediction-local | 16.2.13-1focal | - - all | ceph-mgr-k8sevents | 16.2.13-1focal | - - all | ceph-mgr-modules-core | 16.2.13-1focal | - - all | ceph-mgr-rook | 16.2.13-1focal | - ! all | ceph-prometheus-alerts | 16.2.13-1focal | 16.2.14-1focal - all | cephfs-shell | 16.2.13-1focal | - - all | cephfs-top | 16.2.13-1focal | - - all | libcephfs-java | 16.2.13-1focal | - ! all | python3-ceph-argparse | 16.2.13-1focal | 16.2.14-1focal ! all | python3-ceph-common | 16.2.13-1focal | 16.2.14-1focal - amd64 | ceph | 16.2.13-1focal | - ! amd64 | ceph-base | 16.2.13-1focal | 16.2.14-1focal ! amd64 | ceph-base-dbg | 16.2.13-1focal | 16.2.14-1focal - amd64 | ceph-common | 16.2.13-1focal | - - amd64 | ceph-common-dbg | 16.2.13-1focal | - - amd64 | ceph-fuse | 16.2.13-1focal | - - amd64 | ceph-fuse-dbg | 16.2.13-1focal | - - amd64 | ceph-immutable-object-cache | 16.2.13-1focal | - - amd64 | ceph-immutable-object-cache-dbg | 16.2.13-1focal | - - amd64 | ceph-mds | 16.2.13-1focal | - - amd64 | ceph-mds-dbg | 16.2.13-1focal | - - amd64 | ceph-mgr | 16.2.13-1focal | - - amd64 | ceph-mgr-dbg | 16.2.13-1focal | - - amd64 | ceph-mon | 16.2.13-1focal | - - amd64 | ceph-mon-dbg | 16.2.13-1focal | - - amd64 | ceph-osd | 16.2.13-1focal | - - amd64 | ceph-osd-dbg | 16.2.13-1focal | - - amd64 | ceph-resource-agents | 16.2.13-1focal | - - amd64 | ceph-test | 16.2.13-1focal | - - amd64 | ceph-test-dbg | 16.2.13-1focal | - - amd64 | cephadm | 16.2.13-1focal | - - amd64 | cephfs-mirror | 16.2.13-1focal | - - amd64 | cephfs-mirror-dbg | 16.2.13-1focal | - - amd64 | libcephfs-dev | 16.2.13-1focal | - - amd64 | libcephfs-jni | 16.2.13-1focal | - - amd64 | libcephfs2 | 16.2.13-1focal | - - amd64 | libcephfs2-dbg | 16.2.13-1focal | - - amd64 | libjaeger | 16.2.13-1focal | - - amd64 | librados-dev | 16.2.13-1focal | - - amd64 | librados2 | 16.2.13-1focal | - - amd64 | librados2-dbg | 16.2.13-1focal | - - amd64 | libradospp-dev | 16.2.13-1focal | - - amd64 | libradosstriper-dev | 16.2.13-1focal | - ! amd64 | libradosstriper1 | 16.2.13-1focal | 16.2.14-1focal - amd64 | libradosstriper1-dbg | 16.2.13-1focal | - - amd64 | librbd-dev | 16.2.13-1focal | - ! amd64 | librbd1 | 16.2.13-1focal | 16.2.14-1focal ! amd64 | librbd1-dbg | 16.2.13-1focal | 16.2.14-1focal ! amd64 | librgw-dev | 16.2.13-1focal | 16.2.14-1focal - amd64 | librgw2 | 16.2.13-1focal | - ! amd64 | librgw2-dbg | 16.2.13-1focal | 16.2.14-1focal - amd64 | libsqlite3-mod-ceph | 16.2.13-1focal | - - amd64 | libsqlite3-mod-ceph-dbg | 16.2.13-1focal | - - amd64 | libsqlite3-mod-ceph-dev | 16.2.13-1focal | - - amd64 | python3-ceph | 16.2.13-1focal | - - amd64 | python3-cephfs | 16.2.13-1focal | - - amd64 | python3-cephfs-dbg | 16.2.13-1focal | - - amd64 | python3-rados | 16.2.13-1focal | - - amd64 | python3-rados-dbg | 16.2.13-1focal | - - amd64 | python3-rbd | 16.2.13-1focal | - - amd64 | python3-rbd-dbg | 16.2.13-1focal | - - amd64 | python3-rgw | 16.2.13-1focal | - - amd64 | python3-rgw-dbg | 16.2.13-1focal | - - amd64 | rados-objclass-dev | 16.2.13-1focal | - - amd64 | radosgw | 16.2.13-1focal | - - amd64 | radosgw-dbg | 16.2.13-1focal | - - amd64 | rbd-fuse | 16.2.13-1focal | - - amd64 | rbd-fuse-dbg | 16.2.13-1focal | - - amd64 | rbd-mirror | 16.2.13-1focal | - - amd64 | rbd-mirror-dbg | 16.2.13-1focal | - - amd64 | rbd-nbd | 16.2.13-1focal | - - amd64 | rbd-nbd-dbg | 16.2.13-1focal | - And then looking at the repo website directly, I can see that focal (20.04) is looking undersized (for both arm64 and amd64) compared to bionic (18.04) and bullseye (deb11), and buster (deb10) also looks undersized as well. Pardon the quick and dirty bash.
Just wanted to make sure it was known and could be addressed before people start blindly upgrading packages and end up with a broken install. Thanks, Reed |
