The spec I used does not fully utilize the SSDs though. Instead of 1/8th of the SSD, it uses about 28GB, so 1/32th of the SSD.
This is a bug in certain versions of ceph-volume: https://tracker.ceph.com/issues/56031 It should be fixed in the latest releases.
