Hi Dan, I opened a tracker: https://tracker.ceph.com/issues/57348 > Either "choose indep osd" and "chooseleaf indep osd" should be give > the same result. Exactly, this is also what the documentation says. > > osdmaptool: osdmap file 'osdmap.bin' > > parsed '4.1c' -> 4.1c > > 4.1c raw ([6,1,4,5,3,7], p6) up ([6,1,4,5,3,2147483647], p6) acting ([6,1,4,5,3,1], p6) I included this as a bug as well. Crush should never return a mapping containing an OSD that is not up+in. There is probably a test missing somewhere in the recursion. Thanks for your help and best regards, ================= Frank Schilder AIT Risø Campus Bygning 109, rum S14 _______________________________________________ ceph-users mailing list -- ceph-users@xxxxxxx To unsubscribe send an email to ceph-users-leave@xxxxxxx
