we have been using rook in production for about a year without any major
issues. The upgrade process both for rook and for ceph is working very
smooth and the operator takes care of when-to-restart-what on upgrade.

Over the time we had 2 minor issues:

 a) Kubernetes pod access TO ceph was not possible due to the CSI driver
 issue
 b) There seems to be an issue with scheduling of workload on the
 control-plane (https://github.com/rook/rook/issues/10522), but this
might be a configuration issue on our side

Overall I can recommend rook so far, it feels thought through.

Best regards,

Nico
