Hmmmm, not really, the idea is to discover what is going on with your situation, so if I am having this also after upgrading, I know how to fix this. Or just live with the to be expected drop in performance.
AFAIK the performance problems and other 'major' issues with Pacific are resolved, so I might not spend to much time on Octopus and go to the Pacific version.
