Hello to the list.
Who is everyone using for a hardware VAR that can build a Ceph cluster
with RedHat support? Looking to buy a 500TB cluster. 45Drives is high on
the list, but they don't (yet) offer 24/7 phone support and that is a
requirement for the business.
We have existing support contracts with RedHat, so I contacted our rep
and got a meeting going with several people. They told me they will only
support hardware certified/designed for Ceph, but they have no server
models they recommend. They said I need to work with another company to
spect out and buy the hardware from, and they will provide the software
support.
So they are not making this easy at all.
Who can I contact that can build out and sell me some servers that will
make RedHat happy to support?
