Correct, it's still on the backlog so it hasn't been implemented yet.
Historically it has been up to higher level provisioning tools built
on top of RBD to implement provisioned space quota support.

A use case that might make use of this support would be Ceph CSI. A infra provider can set a quota on RBD namespace usage and Ceph CSI user can consume that. No need for separate pools anymore.

Would it be OK if I made a tracker for this? Or what is the best approach to get this feature evaluated for implementation / prioritization?
