You get bad distribution of data, why not move drives around between these to clusters, so you have more the same in each.


I would assume that this behaves exactly the other way around. As long as you have the same number of block devices with the same size distribution in each node you will get an even data distribution.

If you have a node with 4 3TB drives and one with 4 6TB drives Ceph cannot use the 6TB drives efficiently.
