We don't have the (HW) resources to test with iSER so it's not something that anyone is looking at as far as I know. Plus, even if you RDMAed the data between the initiator and target, it wouldn't RDMA the data over to the OSD. Instead, it would be copied to and from LIO's UIO mmap region between kernel and userspace and then re-sent via librbd + librados.
