I followed the documentation (http://docs.ceph.com/docs/mimic/mgr/dashboard/) to enable the dashboard RGW management, but am still getting the 501 error ("Please consult the documentation on how to configure and enable the Object Gateway... "). The dashboard it self is working.
1. create a RGW user with the --system flag
2. Entered its access and secret keys using the `dashboard set-rgw-api-secret/acess-key` command
3 Set the IP address and Port
4.Set the RGW API user id (to match the RGW admin user whose credentials are being used for this)
I confirmed all of this with various `dashboard get-rgw ... ` commands, disabled and enabled the mgr dashboard service, logged out and back in, but am still getting the error. I am running Ceph version 13.2.4.
