long running jobs with radosgw adminops

Hi,

i just start with the Admin Ops API and wonder how to deal with jobs that
take hours or even days.

Worst example: I have a user with tons of files. When I send the DELETE
/admin/user - command with purge-data=True the HTTPS-Request times out,
but the job is still being processed. I have no idea, which of our
radosgws performs the job and what is the status. I have to query the user
stats, if it still exists and if total_bytes still decrement. When this
halts, maybe the radosgw had a reboot and I have to start the job again.

Am I missing something and is there probably a better way to deal with
that?

Best regards,
