This seems to be added by the following commit:

It contains a brief instruction on how to use it.

PS. I agree with the other comments that the cluster needs to be able to handle deep-scrub during normal operation, expansion is on the way but until then this is a nice 'workaround'.

Luminous has:

osd_scrub_begin_week_day
osd_scrub_end_week_day

Maybe these aren't documented. I usually check here for available option:
