Hi,

Both versioned buckets and lifecycle policies are implemented in ceph, and look useful.

But are lifecycle policies implemented for versioned buckets? i.e. can I set a policy that will properly expunge all "deleted" objects after a certain time? i.e. objects where the delete marker is the latest version. This is available in AWS for example.

Thanks,

As of luminous, radosgw does support the lifecycle policy rules NoncurrentVersionExpiration and ExpiredObjectDeleteMarker that control the expiration of versioned objects.
