I would recommend continuing from where you are now and running `ceph osd reweight-by-utilization` again.  Your weights might be a little more odd, but your data distribution should be the same.  If you were to reset the weights for the previous OSDs, you would only incur an additional round of reweighting for no discernible benefit.
