Hello, we need to reclaim a lot of wasted space by RGW orphans in our production Hammer cluster (0.94.10 on Ubuntu 14.04). According to http://tracker.ceph.com/issues/18258 there is a bug in the radosgw-admin orphans find command, that causes it to get stuck in an infinite loop. From the bug report I cannot tell if there are unusual circumstances that need to be present to trigger the infinite-loop condition, of if I am more or less guaranteed to hit the issue. The bug has been fixed, but not im Hammer. Any chance of getting it backported into Hammer? Is the fix in the radosgw-admin tool itself, or are there more/other components that would have to be touched? As the cluster has about 200 million objects, I would rather not just “try my luck” and get stuck in the middle. Any insight on this would be appreciated.
