Yeah, it's the num_caps.
Interestingly, the "client cache size" defaults to 16384, which makes
me think maybe it's just not releasing caps when requested -- I think
we don't really test that piece in library form much. Can you set one
of the Hadoop Ceph clients to "debug client = 20", capture a log, and
upload it with ceph-post-file?
