Erasure coding general information Openstack+kvm virtual machine block storage

Can someone point me to a thread or site that uses ceph+erasure coding to serve block storage for Virtual Machines running with Openstack+KVM?

All references that I found are using erasure coding for cold data or *not* VM block access.
