performance issue with jewel on ubuntu xenial (kernel)

I wanted to confirm that I also find that Ceph Jewel (10.2.0) on Xenial feels considerably slower than Ceph Infernals (9.2.0) felt on Trusty. I used to regularly sustain reads/writes of 90 MB/s from my desktop to my Ceph cluster, and now normally sustain 50 MB/s, maybe spiking to 85 MB/s. The cluster was an in-place upgrade, and my setup is with 2x replication. My desktop hasn't changed.

I'm waiting for Ubuntu to release Ceph 10.2.2 packages (hopefully with 16.04.1) to see if that helps.
