When I start radosgw, I create the pool .rgw.buckets manually to control whether it is replicated or erasure coded and I let the other pools be created automatically. However, I have noticed that sometimes the pools get created with the "default" prefix, thus rados lspools .rgw.root default.rgw.control default.rgw.data.root default.rgw.gc default.rgw.log .rgw.buckets # the one I created default.rgw.users.uid default.rgw.users.keys default.rgw.meta default.rgw.buckets.index default.rgw.buckets.data # the one actually being used What controls whether these pools have the "default" prefix or not? -- Tom Deneau, AMD _______________________________________________ ceph-users mailing list ceph-users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://lists.ceph.com/listinfo.cgi/ceph-users-ceph.com
