IPoIB is about half the speed of your IB layer, yes.
And bandwidth is (usually) not the biggest issue, latency is.

No.

Supposedly people are working on that, but there's nothing production
ready and I haven't seen anything that indicates it will be in the next
version or the one after that.

Maybe Somnath can pipe up here and prove me wrong. ^o^
