But yes, if you lost your OS you need to get it back.
If your OS SSDs included data that ceph needs (other than ceph.conf)
like monitor data in "/var/lib/ceph/mon/..." then you need to
re-create that monitor.
If your Ceph cluster has/had sufficient redundancy, you can of course
forget about all the data on the dead server and re-install it fully,
after removing the dead parts from Ceph.
