I posted about this a while ago, and someone else has since inquired, but I am seriously wanting to know if anybody has figured out how to boot from a RBD device yet using ipxe or similar. Last I read. loading the kernel and initrd from object storage would be theoretically easy, and would only require making an initramfs to initialize and mount the rbd.. But I couldn't find any documented instances of anybody having done this yet.. So.. Has anybody done this yet?
