Hi Greg, alright. After shutting down the whole cluster and start it with "none" as authentication, i resettet the auth rights and restarted the whole cluster again after setting back to cephx. Now it looks like: client.admin key: mysuperkey caps: [mds] allow * caps: [mon] allow * caps: [osd] allow * But unluckily, nothing changed. ----------------- The intresting stuff: We currently run some proxmox boxes with rbd kernel module access. If i try the same there: #ceph-fuse -m 10.0.0.1:6789,10.0.0.2:6789,10.0.0.3:6789,10.0.0.4:6789 /ceph-storage/ root@cn3:/ceph-storage/test# dd if=/dev/zero bs=256M count=16 of=/ceph-storage/dd1 16+0 records in 16+0 records out Its working... Maybe not perfect speed, but as it seems its no cluster problem we have here. ---- That brings me back to the question how it can be that a fresh minimal install will run into this trouble. I will now, again, setup different OS's and test it. Does anyone anyway run ceph-fuse without the ceph/rbd kernel modules successfully ? -- Mit freundlichen Gruessen / Best regards Oliver Dzombic IP-Interactive mailto:info@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Anschrift: IP Interactive UG ( haftungsbeschraenkt ) Zum Sonnenberg 1-3 63571 Gelnhausen HRB 93402 beim Amtsgericht Hanau Geschäftsführung: Oliver Dzombic Steuer Nr.: 35 236 3622 1 UST ID: DE274086107 _______________________________________________ ceph-users mailing list ceph-users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://lists.ceph.com/listinfo.cgi/ceph-users-ceph.com
