Infernalis and xattr striping

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi All,

If I have upgraded a cluster from Hammer to Infernalis and I have a
situation where some of my xattrs are larger than what could be stored
inline in Hammer.

How do I take advantage of this new striping feature. Do I simply need
to wait for the objects to be overwritten or do I need to drain the OSDs
and then let them repopulate to recreate the objects on disk?

Many Thanks,
Nick
