Hello!

A retry of this question, as I'm still stuck at the install step, due to the old version issue.

Any help is highly appreciated.

Regards,
Bogdan

Hello everyone!

I'm struggling to get a new Ceph cluster installed, and I'm wondering why am I always getting the version 0.80.10 installed, regardless if I'm running just 'ceph-deploy install' or 'ceph-deploy install --release hammer'.

Trying a 'ceph-deploy install -h', on the --release command option it says 'default: emperor'. Is this intended? or am I doing something incorrectly?

My environment:
  • Ubuntu 14.04.3
  • ran 'sudo echo deb http://eu.ceph.com/debian-hammer/ $(lsb_release -sc) main | sudo tee /etc/apt/sources.list.d/ceph.list' and the subsequent apt-get update and install ceph-deploy

Any hint or advice is appreciated.

Thank you!

Bogdan
