Hello!
A retry of this question, as I'm still stuck at the install step, due to the old version issue. On Sat, Oct 31, 2015 at 9:22 AM, Bogdan SOLGA <bogdan.solga@xxxxxxxxx> wrote:
My environment:Hello everyone!I'm struggling to get a new Ceph cluster installed, and I'm wondering why am I always getting the version 0.80.10 installed, regardless if I'm running just 'ceph-deploy install' or 'ceph-deploy install --release hammer'.
Trying a 'ceph-deploy install -h', on the --release command option it says 'default: emperor'. Is this intended? or am I doing something incorrectly?
- Ubuntu 14.04.3
- ran 'sudo echo deb http://eu.ceph.com/debian-hammer/ $(lsb_release -sc) main | sudo tee /etc/apt/sources.list.d/ceph.list' and the subsequent apt-get update and install ceph-deploy
Any hint or advice is appreciated.
Thank you!
Bogdan
