Hi,

I encounter this error :

> /usr/bin/radosgw -d --keyring /etc/ceph/ceph.client.radosgw.keyring -n client.radosgw.myhost
2015-09-24 17:41:18.223206 7f427f074880  0 ceph version 0.94.3 (95cefea9fd9ab740263bf8bb4796fd864d9afe2b), process radosgw, pid 4570

I can force the socket file with the followed option and it works :
--rgw-socket-path=/var/run/ceph/ceph.radosgw.gateway.fastcgi.sock
but why the ceph.conf parameter is ignored ?

I look in the radosgw code, it should work :
  conf->get_val("socket_path", "", &socket_path);
  conf->get_val("socket_port", g_conf->rgw_port, &socket_port);
  conf->get_val("socket_host", g_conf->rgw_host, &socket_host);

  if (socket_path.empty() && socket_port.empty() && socket_host.empty()) {
    socket_path = g_conf->rgw_socket_path;
    if (socket_path.empty()) {
      dout(0) << "ERROR: no socket server point defined, cannot start fcgi frontend" << dendl;
      return;
    }
  }

My ceph.conf content :

[client.radosgw.gateway]
host = myhost
keyring = /etc/ceph/ceph.client.radosgw.keyring
rgw socket path = /
var/run/ceph/ceph.radosgw.gateway.fastcgi.sock
rgw print continue = false
rgw enable usage log = true
rgw enable ops log = true
log file = /var/log/radosgw/client.radosgw.gateway.log
rgw usage log tick interval = 30
rgw usage log flush threshold = 1024
rgw usage max shards = 32
rgw usage max user shards = 1

thanks for your response.

regards
