Hi Yang bin, Not sure if you followed the right docs. I suspect you didn’t, because you should use ceph-disk and specified a FS-Type in the command. I think you might mislead by the quick start(http://ceph.com/docs/master/start/quick-ceph-deploy/#create-a-cluster),
it use a directory instead of a disk as OSD(“Add two OSDs. For fast setup, this quick start uses a directory rather than an entire disk per Ceph OSD Daemon. See
ceph-deploy osd for details on using separate disks/partitions for OSDs and journals.”) So, just read
http://docs.ceph.com/docs/master/rados/deployment/ceph-deploy-osd/ or
http://ceph.com/docs/master/install/manual-deployment/#adding-osds may help your case.
