Reverting to a snapshot looks the same as if you turned off the machine by yanking the power cord at the instant the snapshot was taken. It's not a nice thing to do to a daemon, but the monitors need to be able to handle a dirty shutdown. It would be better to stop the monitor, snapshot, and start the monitor.
