@min chen Thanks for your reply. I am using 0.72.2 and avoiding cephfs as it is not termed as a production ready in this version. I plan to use only Rados gateway for object storage.I checked the documentation of Ceph and observerd that the concept of OID (as an Integer, or to establishes uniqueness of object )is not documented. May be the Ceph is referring OID of the objects in different way. There may be some gaps in my own understanding of Object ID in ceph,the way ceph treats it.Hope more info will be shared in this regard in this forum.
