Loïc Dachary visited us and wrote a small article: http://dachary.org/?p=2269 One thing with LVM volumes is that you have to manually create the filesystem (mkfs.xfs) and mount it somewhere and then point ceph-deploy to that directory. It then creates a symlink under /var/lib/ceph/osd.
