we use ocfs2 ontop of rbd... the only bad thing is that ocfs2 will fence all
nodes if rbd is not responding within defined timeout...

if rbd is not responding to all nodes, having all ocfs2 fenced should not be an issue, because the whole cluster will be unavailable even without fence.

In case of a single ocfs2 node failure, other node still alive should not have issue at all, right?

 
ocfs2 has extra
settings for using it as mailserver fs...


On which settings are you referring to?
