Good point. In fact, I'm not sure why he didn't get an -EOPNOTSUPP
return here:

        return call_int_hook(dentry_init_security, -EOPNOTSUPP, dentry, mode,
                                name, xattr_name, ctx, ctxlen);

It looks like the second argument is what should end up being returned
when there are no entries in the security_hook_list. So it seems like
maybe Stephen's security_hook_list was not empty, but didn't have a
vector for dentry_init_security and returned the default 0 there?
