"ceph log last" is one line behind for master

Hi folks,

In my vstart cluster I'm getting "ceph log last" output one line behind 
the actual/expected string.

E.g. line inserted with ceph log "1234" is shown after yet another ceph 
log "something".

Applies to master only, not reproducible with Luminous.

Wondering if this is expected/known behavior?
