Fine by me. Who should I talk to about back porting?

Hi Victor:

There is some documentation on the team and the processes here:

http://tracker.ceph.com/projects/ceph-releases/wiki/HOWTO

There is also the Ceph Developer Guide, which contains some introductory information about the project and how integration testing works:

http://docs.ceph.com/docs/master/dev/

Everyone starts by cherry-picking, using the instructions in the wiki cited above. When you're ready to try your hand at that, you can choose any "unclaimed" backport ticket from this page:

http://tracker.ceph.com/projects/ceph/issues?query_id=127

where "unclaimed" means the ticket is in status "New", unassigned and doesn't have any comments in it indicating that someone else is working on it.

If you have any questions, feel free to ping me, either by email or IRC in #ceph-devel (my nick: smithfarm)

Happy backporting, and look forward to collaborating!

Nathan
