Hi Alistair, The backporting and stable release maintenance documentation has been reworked and is now hopefully a guide for the first timer as well as a reference while working on backports. http://tracker.ceph.com/projects/ceph-releases/wiki It turns out to be nothing more than a series of procedures, as it should be. The discussions we had helped a lot to clarify how things should be presented. It would be great if you could proofread it.
