Thanks for your interest in Ceph :-) Could you please give us a few links about code you wrote ? It will help us direct you to a project that is the best match for your skills. 

It would be nice if you worked on the Erasure Code Plugins ... because it is my area of interest ;-) If you'd like to know more you could start by listening to the CDS session at https://wiki.ceph.com/Planning/CDS/Infernalis_%28Mar_2015%29 at "Adding a proprietary key value store to Ceph as a pluggable module // Generic support for plugins installation and upgrade".

When / if you have a draft application ready let me know and I'd be happy to review it.
