Hi all,

sorry; my previous answer went to ceph-devel by accident;
apologies for the use of german.

The "invalid argument" in the cephfs command was a result
of the new pool still missing at the mds.

What was missing was the corresponding

   ceph mds add_data_pool <pool id>

command to declare a new pool for being usable by mds.
