squeeze tcmalloc memory leak

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi all-

Just a quick note to Debian squeeze users: in the course of debugging
ceph-mon memory growth over time, we've determined that (at least in
Stefan Priebe's environment) the tcmalloc (google perftools) library on
Debian squeeze is leaking memory. If you are a Ceph user on squeeze, be
aware, and consider upgrading to wheezy.

Thanks, Stefan, for tacking this down!
