Thanks Josh -- could an Ubuntu person weigh on on this? This has me
wondering whether this is going to be fixed in precise.

Changed in ceph (Ubuntu):
milestone:	 ubuntu-12.04.1 → quantal-alpha-1

... is what the bug report says.
