I've been thinking about whipping up some perl bindings for librados. Not sure how useful it would be to others but from a sysadmin standpoint it would probably be a fairly common management method. I've spent only a little time on this, have most of the rados_pool functions working. It would be nice to know if there's already work in progress or something.
