Likely so, unless you can compensate for the newer kernel in the driver source.

I wouldn't recommend it.  This is one of the (very, very few)
disadvantages with using CentOS on newer hardware.  You could try to
contact RealTek to see if they have a solution, or check for a
compatible driver online....
