I had not. Doesn't seem to tell us anything:

# testparm
Load smb config files from /etc/samba/smb.conf
Processing section "[homes]"
Processing section "[printers]"
Processing section "[obscured]"
Loaded services file OK.
Server role: ROLE_STANDALONE

[global]
	workgroup = MYGROUP
