This will create one with a passphrase

openssl genrsa -des3 -out mydomain.key 2048
openssl req -new -key mydomain.key -out mydomain.csr


Same put without a passpharse

openssl genrsa -out mydomain.key 2048
openssl req -new -key mydomain.key -out mydomain.csr
