You mention the LSI SAS card in your original message, but above you
seem to be using the MegaRAID tools. MegaRAID is only for the MegaRAID
products (or OEM versions like Dell PERC6's). If you have an SAS (eg.
Dell SAS6i/R) then you need to be looking at the tools for this (eg.
see LSI website for the LSISAS1068E).
