Interesting (and curious). That means that the description in the
Kconfig file is obsolete. Thanks for your input.
My attempt to write to NTFS produced a "permission denied" message.
This needs more investigation.

You could have saved lots of time and efforts if you cared to read the directions as given in CentOS Wiki ( (http://wiki.centos.org/TipsAndTricks/NTFS) ) as I had suggested in this thread.
