Re: CentOS 5.3 on X86_64: yum installs both i386 and x86_64 packages

Out of pure curiosity:
Does anybody know why both i386 and x86_64 are installed by default?

On other x86_64 platforms I rather tend to cherrypick the i386
packages and install them on a case by case basis.
