There are no 'viruses' (in the MS-Windows sense) for Linux *in the wild*. There are rootkits and from time-to-time exploits in various network services. If you keep things up-to-date and use a properly configured firewall, etc. this is generally not a problem. If you are running a file or mail server for MS-Windows clients, there are scanners that check for *MS-Windows* viruses. -- Robert Heller -- 978-544-6933 Deepwoods Software -- Download the Model Railroad System http://www.deepsoft.com/ -- Binaries for Linux and MS-Windows heller@xxxxxxxxxxxx -- http://www.deepsoft.com/ModelRailroadSystem/ _______________________________________________ CentOS mailing list CentOS@xxxxxxxxxx http://lists.centos.org/mailman/listinfo/centos
