Well, there's RPMs for it in the EPEL repository.  But since you have no
root access, doubting you can use them.
There are two versions of Imlib.  You can explore
http://web.enlightenment.org/p.php?p=download for imlib2, or
http://ftp.gnome.org/pub/GNOME/sources/imlib/ for the 1.9.15 version
(probably what you want).

I think you're in for a tough road.  Try buying the sysadmin flowers.
