They say same about Redhat. But, sure they are too strict about it.

And oh well, after checking http://www.gnu.org/distros/free-system-distribution-guidelines.html I now think its almost impossible to have any latest distribution get endorsed.

We rebuild the "RHEL sources" kernel ... what does it say about them.
It will say the same thing about CentOS.

We are not interested in changing the kernel ... it has to be the same.
